Irving Retail Center Completes Facelift
The 35-year old Grande Center located across from the Irving Mall just completed a makeover. Mall owner Weitzman spent $1.5 million fo refresh the the 78,000 square foot retail center.
Weitzman began renovations on Grande Center in June 2024. The architect for the project was Dallas-based Hodges & Associates and the general contractor was Preston Pierce Construction.
Renovations mostly involved exterior upgrades as well as resurfacing the center’s stucco façade and added more visible LED signage for tenants.
The Dallas Business Journal reports as of February, the center was more than 96% leased. It is anchored by Movie Trading Company, a vintage electronics store that buys and sells DVDs, CDs and video games. Other tenants include GameStop, Hooters, Rainbow Shops, Edible Arrangements, Pasand Indian Cuisine and bubble tea store Feng Cha.
Weitzman’s Lynn Van Amburgh and Guillermo Lopez handle leasing at the center, and it is managed by Weitzman Senior Property Manager Chandler Walker.
