New Crescent Tower Faces Final Hurdle
If approved by the Dallas City Council next month, the 30-story Crescent Point Tower would emerge at the tip of The Crescent (photo), Uptown’s prominent mixed-use development. The apartment high-rise would have roughly 215 housing units and face Cedar Springs Road and Maple Avenue.
The Dallas Business Journal reports the residential project is now likely to appear before Dallas’ city council toward the end of March after the City Plan Commission unanimously voted to approve rezoning on the site
The project comes from developer Crescent Real Estate LLC, which opened the Uptown Dallas landmark in 1986. The Crescent is now a signature development that features a hotel, three office towers and a luxury retail center. In total, the 10-acre site spans 1.3 million square feet.
The project is also slated to include two outdoor dining areas, ground-floor retail space and a new landscaped parkway on Maple Avenue. The multifamily project could be delivered sometime in 2027.
